1968 FJ40 I have a newly installed rebuilt 3 speed connected to a v8 Test drive reveals 3rd gear keeps popping out. I don’t think it is fully engaged. Any hope the top plate can be the issue or high/low arm adjustment will help? Thank you Ben

Has anyone seen this bearing retainer on 3 speed? It doesn’t have TEQ stamp, yet it was on my 3 speed? Other bearing retainers I’ve seen have the mfr. stamp. Also the OD is bigger on stamped bearing retainer! 34.2 is OD of old one and 37.1 is OD of stamped one.
