i ordered xd-21230 direct from aussie locker for my 73 fj40 and my mechanic says it wont work like i got the wrong model or something. something about the "thrust plate" or something. what is he talking about and what is up with a aussie locker install?

what does it do? people told me i need that cause my drive shaft is binding

Im in california and i need a rear locker for my stock 73 fj40. where can I get one quick? Im tired of dealing with companys that advertise s*** they dont have, and you only find out they dont have it in stock five days later when your waiting for your package.

and yes its going into a fj40. Im building it as light as possible in front so I can pop a wheelie. relocated the gas tank and battery behind the rear axle. fiberglass front end etc. I want it to run on 87 because all of my other vehicles require premium and its killing my pocket book

I installed 4 inch downey springs and it seemed to moved the front axle about three inches rearward so now the shocks are twisted and the bumpstops dont line up. they on backwards?

I just picked this cruiser up for three hundred bucks. I has some device attached to the rear of the three speed transfer case. the shifter that goes to it in the upper right hand corner says "overdrive, In, Out"

but i have a shackle reversal on front...

they are leaf springs. brand new old stock.they have numbers on them and + marks on one end one set looks like "48110-64 +" and the other is "48210-64 +" the plus is on one side of the centering pin in the middle so i think it means something P.S. SHAMALAMADINGDONG!

Me and my dad are installing four inch downey springs and dont know what one goes on back or front. also which WAY they go on. you can flip them around. we installed what we think are the fronts(they have less arc than the rears) but the bump stops dont line up. seriously i got to get my cruiser...
