I'd be down if it's not on a night that conflicts w family scheduled things. Franklin area would be cool as there are several of us close(ish) to Franklin, and that would be closer to those coming from south of Nashville as well. Not sure how many club members we have on the north side..

Others have reported issues w the hurrican tailgate storage in an lx470 but looks like yours went in well. Do you have plenty of storage space or do the reverse lights take up a good bit of room? I have a hurrican on my 80 and it's great, looking to install one on my 07 lx470.

Found a good writeup on it over on another forum.. Stud broke off frame-- steering rack bolt

I ground out the bottom plate, cut the bolt off. I'll have a nut welded back in, or maybe just leave unwelded (for now). I think all the structural support is horizontal.

Here's a better view from the outside.. A friend suggested a hole saw and make an access to the back side of the nut. Any thoughts on where to cut this? I could try cutting out some of the red square here, just enough to access the nut on the inside, but that's the gusset for the steering rack...

I sourced a 60 series hood prop, ordered grommet and clip and it fits perfect. It was literally a 1 minute install. No more broomstick!

Thanks for this info. I just ordered one. Still available on Amazon for about $20 total. I'll try to remember to post up how well it fits on my 80, or, if wheel is the same size I'll install on my 100, I think.
