I was using this as my daily driver for years and finally bought a newer sedan.
This is 260k, mostly stock, without diff locks. Fair condition.
I always dreamt of keeping it as an extra vehicle that I could have fun with but I'm reconsidering. For my off roading needs our newer 4 runner...
UPDATE: Checked system pressure and it was low. Added the R134a and it's blowing cold air. BUT, we still have the loud clicking noise when it's engaged. In the video this starts at 0:08 on the timer.
Looking at the engaged clutch closer, it spins wobbly and rough while engaged. When not...

I want to be very specific on what I have the shop do.
What am I asking to have done specifically?
What do I tell the mechanic to do exactly? Front axel rebuild?
Anything I can do in the meantime to keep it rollin?
Really wish I knew someone in Denver that wanted to earn some extra cash to do this for me, anyone interested?
Yes, I'm a little disappointed. I was expecting more help on this thread over the last 4 days.
Maybe the holiday weekend kept people away from mud. Unfortunately I ran out of time.
Finally gave up and took it to a shop here in Denver. 3 hours @ $110 and all they could figure out was it's somewhere between the Brake Switch and the Brake Lamp. Their solution: run new wires to bypass this and make them work.
