She handled good mate, tuff dog 51mm big bore adjustables in the front and pro comp in the rear. no swaybars, i used to drive it everywhere.

Cheers mate, she's not that clean anymore with doing over 200,000 klms since that pic was taken. Im gunna give her a big clean up this month while its off the road!

Can you get ACL for the 12ht? My old man had ACL in his 1hdt 80 series, hasnt had any problems so far!

Hey I agree Spudman, thanks for the heads up! The red light in your tacho is just precaution, the ct26 turbo and standard pump tune (ie...letting the boost compensater do its thing) is good for 14.6 psi, after this the red light comes on. My red light is on all the time as mine sits on 15...

The old 12ht is a pretty tuff engine with the right parts. Graeme from GTurbo was telling me about a 4.73L stroker they built with 112mm bores. They were working on a 5L at the time i bought a turbo off him. They had custom pistons and rods made in the states somewhere and reground cranks...

Is there such a thing as a quality rebuild kit in Aus for a 12ht... Unless your buying genuine, there is diesel power and maybe a couple others. Im not looking for just a standard rebuild kit. Im looking for more along the lines of custom parts. Im currently running a GTurbo at 20psi but...

Ive got a straight through 3" on my 12ht. No mufflers, fairly loud, nothing excessive. Better fuel economy, and noticable power gain. Ive got a boost controller set at 13 psi. Still manages under 10 litres per 100klm even with 600,000klms on the clock.
