Have just finished rebuilding my gearbox and t/c ,it take some time ttho do it . very important to work very clean, wash it very good with degreaser before you open any thing. take a lot of photos as there are some parts that can go both ways with a very small different. one of the problems is...

This is what i was not sure about , the fact that on the FSM GL5 is an option but it's also known that GL5 attack yellow metals.

i'm not sure what would be the right oil, GL4 or GL5 ? on the manule it says API 75w90 GL4\ GL5 , but the syncro in that transmission made of yellow metal and GL5 shouldn't go with yellow metal... what are you guys using ? Harel

how the axle should be measured ? if i'ts bend shoulden't it leak on both sides?

the axle shaft was clean the diff breather was also o.k but i'll take another look on it. i used the marlin's inner oil seal and i'm not sure if it's is actualy better then oem for this axle, it seems that the oem is much more flexible. any comments about that?

free hubs, leaks only when hubs are locked still getting gear oil shim stack was measured and it was fine

the knukel on my 97' HZJ 75 keep leaking , all ready rebuild it,changed the axle inner oil seal to marlin's and replaced the brass bush ,nothing help...any idea ? Harel

if it never been open before the tabs should be o.k refolding, thanks for the offer but i'm a little beat far away from you...

it's the plastic tanks, radiator is in good condition so i prefer to replace just the tanks and seals.

oil is leaking from the transfer csae in to the gear box, i saw Marlin crawler got HD oil seal but i'm not sure if it's the right one. they ofer 2 options ,for 21 splines output shaft and 23 splines. any body know if it will fit H55 gear box on the HZJ75 ? Heavy Duty Transmission Output Seal |...
