Yeah, it was Tommy. He honestly seemed like a good guy when we talked to him but then he started getting into some probably sales techniques where he was trying to create a sense of urgency which I guess is maybe just part of the used car salesman's DNA but it turned my friend off and he ended...
What did you pay for that sled? I was looking at it too but for some reason, the guy selling it kept doing shady stuff like saying it would be going to the Toyota dealer for $54K which didn't make sense because it had already been on eBay and didn't sell at that price.
It seemed kinda silly to...
Yeah, it wasn't that bad. I was struggling, partly because I didn't really know what I was doing but also because if you look at the part, It has to go in pretty far and I wasn't able to get it in until I took the switch off. Even then, I had trouble getting the new part in but I eventually got...
I finally got it done. I had a heck of a time getting the old broken piece out and then getting the new one in all the way. I ended up taking the ignition switch off and that made it easier to get the new one seated properly.
Hi Everyone,
I joined this club and I am having a tough time getting the new piece in and I realized that mine must have broken before and now I don't have the larger of the two little springs for the brass plates. Does anyone know where I could get on of those?
Another thumbs up for the Coverados. Nice snug fit with very little bunching.
They weren't too hard to install and the armrests were easy to notch out for, I just used an electric hot knife. I use my 100 as a contractor rig and they will serve my needs well.
I agree. I was planning on doing this. Others have said that the larger vacuum hose was a 5/8" diameter and the return line was a 3/8". is that what you bought? I am pretty sure these are already aftermarket hoses and I don't really think the OEM ones are worth it if it's just these. For the...
It was on the vacuum side of the reservoir but down where it meets the pump. No clue how it happened but my only guess is that the stop leak was enough to change something internally and cause it to leak. The clamp was pretty loose so I could see how that might happen.
Alright, now I feel dumb. Not sure if it was just a coincidence but it turns out one of the hoses coming off the reservoir was very loose at the pump. Tightened the clamp back up and all seems fine now. Someone has been in there before because those weren't stock hose clamps and they must have...
Hi All,
I tried searching but couldn't find anything that addresses my issue.
I have been having some pretty serious issues with my power steering. What started out as a small drip two days ago has spiraled into having serious foaming and overflowing out of the reservoir.
I had a slow leak...
Do you have the little plastic cup and wire harness that attaches to the back of a 2002 Lexus LX470 Passenger side low beam? The part # is

PM me if you do. Thanks!
Sorry for the delayed response. I actually don't use Safeco anymore. I am using Auto Owners now. I would have to check, but I think my 80 is insured up to $25,000 and my 100 is around the same, maybe a little less.
Hope that helps.
I installed the new sensor today and all seems fine now. I would note that I think the problem with my old sensor was the little ball joint on the arm that bolts on. It was basically seized due to lack of grease and probably some rust and the seal was compromised. Not sure if I could have just...

I just copied this off the order on Partsouq. Shipping to me will be less than $14 and it will likely be wrapped in like a half a roll of tape. I picture them throwing the packages on the plane as it takes off because it's...
