    60 on craigslist

It's mine, a lot of the guys have seen it up close. It's a nice truck that's in great condition. The Toy Barn called today and are very interested, something about a customer who needs this type of vehicle shipped to him in Panama. Pretty crazy if it works out. We shall see! Cheers, Brett

FS in Ohio: Clean '87 FJ60

Here are some interior pics. There are a few marks and stains you would expect on a twenty year old Cruiser that has helped raise some children. Overall it's very nice, but could certainly use a shampoo.

    Selling my Cruiser

Yes, that is all sorted. The Toyota dealer in Ocala installed a new headgasket after confirming the head was in good shape. No problems since then. They sent the parts home with my wife who got to stick around. The gasket blew between #3 & 4 cylinders, right at the thinnest part between the...

    Cruiser Rollover...Upgrade your lapbelts folks..

I believe I have a couple of sets of five point cam-lock harnesses from the rally car that I would trade for beer. I have to replace the harness every two years, so they are in great shape and perfect for trail riding. Brett

    exhaust manifold hell...

You shouldn't need to double up the gaskets. Jim Chenoweth always has his machinist surface the intake and exhaust manifold bolted together to ensure a good fit back on the head. While you have that off you need to look at the head and make sure you don't have any cracks at the exhaust ports...

    Carb Question

Ouch. You can run the valves yourself if you are skilled enough to do minor tune-ups. I have a Jim C. carb on my rig, and it runs beautifully. I know Jim test runs all the carbs he rebuilds on his test mule, so when you get it you bolt it on and it runs right. You can reach him at...

Where do you stand when working under the hood?

I use a short three step ladder or a big metal milk crate. The crate is handy for keeping loose items secured in the cargo area, and the small ladder helps fetch items from the roof rack. Cheers, Brett
