Okay, totally redid this in Illustrator and Photoshop. Took Nick's advice in making it simpler for reproduction.

If you guys like it, I can finish the website.

Hey Mark,

Much better! Two things: Add the yellow fill in the circle outside the birfields and Toyota logo. Really need the color in there to make the logo "pop" IMHO. You might even try outlining the letters in the red ring in yellow instead of the white. Less colors to print later and I bet it reads a little better. Second: The outlines of the birfield bells are WAY to heavy. The outer shape is spot on but the line thickness is way wrong. I'll try and attach a quick MSPaint of what I'm tryng to say. Gotta add Photoshop to this machine...

The bell on the left is closer to what I have in mind. To me the flat on the side of the birfield is part of what helps ID what it is along with the splines. I don't have the time to redo the letters but I think you get the idea.

Again, I think you're doing a great job on the logo. If you think my tweeks will help, great. If not don't sweat it.

Your suggestions have helped already so I'll tweek it some more and see what we get. The yellow would definateley make it pop from a distance.

Will get on it, it's alot easier to edit this in Illustrator with all the layers.

Much better! On the birfields: the line weight (width) of the OUTLINE of lower part (below the "T") ought to match the upper part. The line weight of the inner details is pretty good.

I think I'll admit to being wrong on the yellow outline of the letters...maybe. Almost seems like too much yellow with yellow outlines. How's it look without yellow in the "T" (with the yellow outline letters)?

Sorry as usual I am a Johnny come lately to the party. We need to be careful about logo useage rights here. The Toyota logo/icon is a nice touch but illegal. TLCA is not recognized or sponsored by Toyota Corporation and neither are we. The club does not have permission to use their icon. Toyota is very protective of their brand and I have seen companies and organizations spanked for much less.

That's my six cents.

Yeah, that's a good point. I'm reworking it this weekend and will replace the Toyota Sombrero with a Buckeye
