This looks like a good option for someone like me who uses the third row pretty often for kids. Looks like they can be removed in under 5 mins. Pretty sweet deal.
Probably an unconventional solution, but I started using boat bags for stowing gear in my trucks years ago. They're rugged, can be bought in all sorts of sizes, and most importantly (to me anyway) the dense rubberized material they're made from...

Update: Took it to Lexus of Winter Park. They couldn't pinpoint the rattling so they shoved a bunch of felt in the B pillar which is where they say these problems are 70% of the time. I drove away and it seemed fine... until I hit some bumps and...
Here are some cheap and easy ideas/mods for your new GX:
Here's a great center console tray. You'll need to use a heat gun to flex the sides inward just a wee bit, but it works great and better than the factory tray...
Custom length cables fornmy winch install. The look and feel great. Also showing what you should get for a fuse hllder. Thanks to the car stereo world for that.
Not sure if a seat swap is possible, considering the wiring required from the head unit to the seats. They would have to have the same head unit and all connections. Note, I'm referring to the person who'd be receiving the seats with the...
Yeah, I have a Pak Mule and can load it so that the barn door still swings, but there is some packing management involved. I'll actually be getting a swing hitch in the near future which will illiminate that issue, and may even reduce the...
You can definitely open your rear door with a hitch carrier on a GX. I use mine for one very specific purpose. FYI, that's a $50 Harbor Freight ATV carrier, which just barely cleared the rear door. I've since gotten a nice aluminum carrier that...
All valid points, however for me the benefits outway the cons.
1) less height and drag added to the vehicle (I find that even ski racks to the roof for carrying fishing poles adds drag and decreases mileage)
2) Added weight is kept low...
See a lot of those hitch carriers. Only issues:
DON'T FORGET IT'S THERE when backing up!!!
Can't open your rear door, but as a consolation, you do have access to the rear window.
Hope you're not also wanting to bring along a couple of bikes too...
I wondered about the PT 4wd. Now it boils down to - what else could you do with the extra money you'd spend on the LX? Is that greater than the extra enjoyment you'd have driving the LX? You can't really go wrong.
I just picked up a 2023 GX460 with 13k miles and I'm digging it so far. I'm glad to see people are enjoying their OTT Tunes because I had one on my 4runner and loved it so I was hoping I could expect the same with my GX. Cheers
WARN on all of my quads. My father still has a nearly 45 year old WARN on an old Chevy pickup …IIRC.. it is a M8274 that he still uses all the time and works perfectly.
Looks like model in this article...
Hasn't let me down yet.
Funny thing, I actually had to use it on our seven day camping trip a couple weeks ago.
We were just about to the Sierra foothills and stopped at this gas station to fill up and let the grand kiddies stretch their legs. It...
With all due respect, how much was your winch? It is a 10k lb winch, right? I couldn't get all the winch info off your photo.
My winch on Amazon was less than the current price of $576.19, since I purchased it seven years ago.
But still, it's...
