These pics you can see my construction lines. The curve on my viper cut is the curve on my belt sander. The little Porter Cable is indispensable for shaping.
I watched a few of their videos as well, certainly heartbreaking. Another non-automotive guy I used to watch - the Desert Drifter - was also killed in a car accident after coming back from a hike. Certainly quite sad :(.
At 108 k miles, that sounds about right for a radiator replacement. Then you can do all your hoses and belts too. I replaced mine at just under 100 k. Unfortunately I didn't have the presence of mind to get a better, ALL aluminum aftermarket...
You may want to also ask if anyone on this forum is getting rock sliders and has any take-off's they need to get rid of!.
Could get them for the cost of shipping?
Or, just go with a simple solid step slider, like Slee and paint if factory with...
This post is not GX related and may be deleted, but that's okay. But it’s 100% Toyota related.
This is a shout out to Matt Yeomans and Stacey Tourout, creators of Toyota World Runners YouTube channel. They have a great Youtube channel of off...
Your second photo down, of the trees and trail, looks like a post card or painting! That is a great photo!
You may consider photo printing and framing it, or sell the prints with frames.
Weathertechs are indeed awesome. I have them in my GX too (same color)! They've done an excellent job keeping mud, dirt, and spilled drinks off the carpet.
FWIW I usually wear Crocs on longer trips so I can easily slip them off and drive...
I'll take a couple tomorrow, but it's basically a little smaller than the inside of the console, so use that as your guide.
A full size firearm might be close but any CCW size compact or subcompact should fit.

IMO: Insufficient stock cooling compounded by ambiguous/or lacking AT service advice from Lexus dealers (even though some maintenance is suggested at 60K miles) has contributed to a significant number of the reported AT failures over the years...
Three reasons:
1. Factory fluids can be hard to find. I live in a rural area where most cars are domestics. The nearest Toyota dealer is 45 minutes away. That's fine for fluids like coolant that I change every 50K (3 to 5 years) but would be a...
I'm thinking about all the Toyota/Lexus products that go a quarter million/half million miles plus on factory fluids.
So why not just stay with factory fluids?
When my wife and got rid of our 100 series Landcruisers (she had one and I had mine)...
I know I am taking a chance on getting ridiculed but I am hoping I can get some guidance. Just purchased a '23 GX460 with 24K miles. My question is regarding the gear oil and transfer case oil. I have decided to use 5W-30 in the engine. I...
Finished installing the 1/4 inch aluminum skids from Talon's Garage on my '23 GX460. I don't rock crawl and at most, go on rutty dirt roads, so my primary concerns are weight, protecting the cats, and corrosion/salt. I bought the complete set on...
people said my subwoofer would severely limit my cargo capacity but
i have 8 17” tires, 4 still mounted on wheels in here no issue and still got the bass bumping 😅
From the company photos, it looks like you can even have a few items on top of the safe lid and still close the console cover, so long as you don't need to access the safe often, and pull off everything on top the lid.
I finally got around to cleaning my reg from being in the Sierra's for over a week. Boy, what it dirty. wood chips, bark, dust, pine needles, it was quite a mess.
So I pulled out the 'ol shop vac, pull out every floor mat and carpet.
Dusted and...
I'm assuming large enough for a CCW. I have an under seat safe for when I go into a federal building, airport, etc. and have to stash my weapon.
Is it possible to have a couple pictures of it open and a link to where you purchased?
Just added the Console Vault to my GX460. Yes, you lose the change / sunglasses holder but now I have a smash 'n grab resistant storage space. It replaces the existing bolts in the center console - you just need 5-10 minutes and a 10mm socket...
. ..Had this Thule Force 3 XL Monstrosity mounted to the factory crossbars with no clearance issues... and we put heavy stuff in it like a Clam shelter, any number of other heavy bags of stuff that we take with us...
So I picked a point about 1.25 inches lower than the sensors. I then taped the f-ck out of it and put a mark every few inches where I measured down from the bumper for the rear. For the wings it gets a little weird. There are different vertical...
