Mineral Creek out of Ouray was rougher than I expected on that trail too. I went the opposite direction so I was going down so maybe easier for me. Really fun though.
Made it up and over Engineer Pass today. The first section out of Ouray (Mineral Springs Trail) was more technical than expected! Beautiful day until the rains came and I wasn't able to complete the rest of the Alpine Loop. Will have to come...
With the spray being on plastic, not sure what you can do that wouldn't compromise the plastic.
Whatever you try, do it on a small, non-visible test area first.
Is the undercoating spray course/rough? Or can you just spray over it?
If it's not...
I finally removed the garage alpha grille. Finally got annoyed enough with it to go back to my F-Sport grille.
The garage alpha grille had quite a few issues.
-Had to be modified to even properly install.
-Feels very flimsy.

Black chunks came out of my cooling system, otherwise the antifreeze was clear.
Bled it and going to check it in a few hours to see what it looks like. I have enough coolant to do 2 more drain and fills, if I need to.
Its draining right now. I cleaned out the sludge, it may have come from the hoses.
I am not going to do a full flush, I am going to dump the radiator to dilute it, and see how it looks.
Been chasing a coolant system issue and replaced the cap on the radiator and also found the overflow tube was partially blocked yesterday.
Ibspect it today and there are little.black spec in the coolant and the overflow was sliced with oil...
Coming along nicely!

The plastic ones on our LC's, the plastic was so broken down it was literally crumbling. I had to pull out little chunks with a toothpick before using the brass fitting.
I'd replace them now before they fail.
I had the same thing happen on our old 10 series LC's. The hose was right next to the firewall and the Tee connection was plastic.
I went to our local hardware store and purchased brass Tee fitting of the right size and some stainless steel hose...

Totally off topic, but my Grandpa had a pair of binoculars stamped "Made in Occupied Japan" back in the day. As a professional statistician and Deming acolyte, it's amazing to track the history and progress of data-driven processes. Back to...
Generally accepted ATF operating temps and transmission life expectancy. Many different charts out there from different sources but they all say the same thing at the end of the day.
Last weekend hit 228° in the torque converter briefly coming...
It's easy math the cooler the trans the longer the life. Anything above 220 is starting to cook it, I wouldn't even mention 300s that's out of the question lol
