there are 2 temp sensors, one for the guage on your dash, the one the OP replaced was the engine coolant temp sensor, it's the one responsible for sending signals to the ECM.

Have you managed to sort the truck out yet? How's the cheap IACV performing?

Spoke too soon. Still playing up for the first 5 mins when cold on petrol. Bogs down, low power and slighty lumpy idle. After 5 mins of driving it's fine. Also runs fine on LPG. Next step will be to clean the injectors and inspect the fuel pump. Unless this is electrical related..then I'm stumped.

Hi, i've got a 94 FZJ80 with the 1FZ-FE and want to clean my injectors. How hard was it to remove the injectors without removing the upper intake manifold? I've not heard of this being posisble before. Only having to remove the throttle body sounds like it would save a lot of time, and money in...
