The whole point of the purchase, and build, was an adventure to Alaska and Canada with a buddy. Unfortunately, the buddy had to back out, so this became, mostly, a solo trip. I was able to meet up with @coldtaco and his wife for a few days in AK.

she was in charge of swapping out the rear shocks, while I installed a ATF cooler in order to avoid the dreaded "pink milkshake" that is common in her world. Also it was time to install the winch inside the bumper, which requires some fiddling!

Why did you need to remove the front bumper to pull the rear wheels? :flipoff2:

My uncle offered me Granpa's truck and my wife wanted it so I got a new project. My grandpa bought this new on November 5, 1969. Got it home, put a battery in it, dumped a little fuel down the carb and she fired right up.
