I replaced my power steering pump with OEM, I have a 1999 so my hoses are 20 yrs old. Having said that, I decided to re-use the old high pressure hose (OEM price is insane). Well... apparently a new pump puts out some good pressure and it made my high pressure hose leak, ended up replacing it...
Few things to check, spark plugs, if old replace, clean throttle body, carbon build up may have your butterfly sticking before releasing. Clean your mass air flow sensor (be sure and use special spray cleaner only) and clean air filter always helps too.
Hopefully you’ll see an improvement!
Had a similar problem with my front passenger window, took apart the door switch panel drivers side opened it completely to expose each individual contact and found grit and restricted movement. If the switch did not slide to neutral position the other switch would not work. Cleaned with...
My 99 had a leak also, just replaced seal and done!
If you have a 99 be sure and engage rear lock so the axle slides right out. Pretty simple job, be careful disconnect your brake line.
Awesome! Your going to love it, I’m a proud original owner of a 99 with 311k miles! Your barely broken in, just keep up with all the maintenance and she’ll be good to you....
I average 9mpg city with front and rear ARB steel bumpers 9.5 winch and slee sliders on 35’s. And I feather the gas pedal!!! Maybe 12mph on the highway at 70-75mph It’s the price you have to pay to wear all the steel.....
I have a 1999 had the same leak, drivers side rear. I only changed these two seals and done! Been over a year and never leaked again. All my bearing were in good shape, no play etc.
Seems it could be a chronic issue, my 99 is having the same symptoms. Defrosts and rear AC. Pain in the ass! Have to hit the switches 3-5 times for them to activate at times. Wonder if it’s the same issue for the center lock...?
I have a 60” extreme high lift on my rear ARB bumper, it attaches to the center of my rear tire carrier. I can’t make it inside most parking garages unless I position the jack to drop below or right at the bottom end of my rear bumper. Long story short, I plan on a gamaviti rack and totally plan...
I own the OME sports shocks and 863 coils and have to say they are stiff. Even with front/rear ARB bumpers, winch, full size spare,60” lift jack, Jerry can, Slee sliders and running 35” tires just barely makes them tolerable. The give and take here is how it soaks up dips, takes hard curves and...
