I did check the intake tube. I put that silver tape on it years ago just because I saw some Cracks where they tighten. That should cause a misfire anyway, should it? I guess next is replacing the wires and see what happens

Ok, engine is still in the truck, but it sure ain’t running right. It has a random and frequent miss. I made a video and posted it. I’ve replaced plugs, about the replace cap and rotor to rule them out. Any ideas ?Missing 95’ fj80

Quick update. You all are amazing! I got a bottle of AT-205, and it stopped leaking! Ive been driving my beloved 80 again! thank you all for the help! Kent

Anyone replace the seal without taking the pump out? Seems like there is room. My leak has gotten to the point it will empty the reservoir in a couple of days.

Howdy all! Ive been chasing down a power steering leak. Checked every hose, and finally traced it to the back of what I believe to be the steering unit. I looks like a pressed in cap on the back, and it is leaking through it. It is not leaking from the sides. I cant see where it is seeping...

After 350k miles. I am having the same issue. Obd2 showed a cylinder 6 misfire. Changed plugs, still rough when cold. when I drove it, it seemed to run ok if I drove real chill, but started misfire if I stepped on the gas. so I’m hoping to get some answers too.
