Heater hose leak/ part number help

Thanks for the hose sizes. Much appreciated. I have to pick my battles in terms of my budget. New idle pulley & tensioner from Mr. T, check, new hoses cut to size from elsewhere, well, this is why I keep extra hose in the bin in the cargo area in the back.

Heater hose leak/ part number help

Aloha! I know this is a 4 year old thread I'm resurrecting, and it's only because I'm having similar hoses leak. Does anyone know the size of these hoses so I can order them? I'm specifically looking at the one in the second picture of the OP. There's another hose directly behind this hose...

    Auxiliary Fan Install

i got mine installed. Best thing ever in this Vegas heat. Immediate difference in cooling down the interior. One question: I wired according to the diagram & the light stays on even when the fan is not on. How to I correct this? Before, after, & light on when in off position photos. Ignore the...

    Brake Booster Advice

Okie dokies. To Harbor Freight tomorrow for a gauge. I did indeed find a video & it even demonstrated how to test the valve to at least attempt to eliminate (or not) that component. I did change out a couple vacuum lines when I put in new spark plugs & wires about a week & a half ago. I'm going...

    Brake Booster Advice

Disclaimer: I only started working on the vehicle myself this year (outside of oil changes). Bear with me and my learning brain. 1. I'm not sure what you mean about doing a vacuum test. I followed the procedure in the FSM. Is that not the test that I have pictured above that you are referring...

    Brake Booster Advice

Hmmm... ok. I’m not exactly in the NW with that heat wave. It’s hotter in Seattle right now than Las Vegas. Still yet, locally, car batteries have been crapping out more than normal all month according to the roadside assistance guy (mine included, less than 3 years old). THANKS!

    Brake Booster Advice

Aloha, In 2015, at 236,xxx miles, I had my power brake booster replaced with a new OEM booster. Now, I'm at 272,xxx miles and am experiencing intermittent hard brakes. I followed the FSM operation check, and it appears to be the booster. Results: 1. a. Depressing the brake pedal several...

    P0172 with rough/ low idle

Any updates? My vehicle just started having low idle issues, sputtering while stopped at a light & a bit upon acceleration. But it's inconsistent. Sometimes I'll be at a light and while it low idles, it won't periodically drop (what I am calling sputtering while stopped) and so if it doesn't do...

1st time DIY - Front End Rebuild

The oil retainer bolt holes do not go all the through. I myself kept thinking that too, but it’s the bolts facing outward that have bored-through holes. Having said that, it does seem like there’s enough room to re-bore the holes & maybe go all the way through? I just don’t have the tools for...

1st time DIY - Front End Rebuild

I held off on mentioning it at the start as I had thought it was going to be fairly easy to remove them. The method is quite straightforward. Them bolt shafts on the back of the knuckle housing are quite small. The drill tip does not like to stay centered. We were working on it for 2 hours. We...

1st time DIY - Front End Rebuild

Loose bearings was definitely the issue on the PS. Everything has been reassembled & I feel good about it. Test drive felt & sounded good. No change in wheel play after a romp around the neighborhood & quick drive on the freeway. I have a couple loose ends: How do I get the front tie rod end...

1st time DIY - Front End Rebuild

That image was taken during re-tear down for the purposes. We wiped everything clean for easier grip for removal. The post after my original posting of the picture shows the spindle after I have removed the hub. Completed disassembly last night. Got tired & will reassemble today. Feeling...
