Anyone have this issue fixed? Replaced the PS pump and made sure the gear was correctly installed -- sound is still there. Does anyone think this is a sign to get the engine rebuilt?
That is a great point -- I never thought to think it was condensation. I'll definitely try and take it to a local shop so they can do some compression tests and maybe send in some oil to blackstone. There's a pretty bad leak somewhere -- looking like right above the water pump. I do see a little...
Hey everyone
I've got a beautiful 94. Just realized I have some coolant getting into the engine. Checked the oil cap and it's got some white sludge :bang:
I have minor knocking (piston slap??). Knocking goes up with the throttle, but 80% of the noise goes away when the engine is warm...
I am truly at a loss. The next time it rains, I'll make sure to take photos and video. Maybe next step might be to take the interior door panel out, close the door and spray water on the door and try and isolate the location.

The problem I ran into was trying to fit something in the small bumper hole. I tried coming from below, but the factory towing hitch makes it impossible.
Me too, I was very, very bummed. They mentioned since it "might" have rust it could take them a few hours. I told them it's rust free and they said they wouldn't be able to promise to get it out. Whatabunchashmucks
Update: Will be spending the money to buy a spare tire tool because local Toyota dealer was going to charge labor ($175/hr) for removing the spare. :bang: Cheaper to buy the toolkit. Thanks everybody for your input.
