    fzj80 motor tick

Anyone have this issue fixed? Replaced the PS pump and made sure the gear was correctly installed -- sound is still there. Does anyone think this is a sign to get the engine rebuilt?

Need to rebuild -- Any recommendations in Chicago?

That is a great point -- I never thought to think it was condensation. I'll definitely try and take it to a local shop so they can do some compression tests and maybe send in some oil to blackstone. There's a pretty bad leak somewhere -- looking like right above the water pump. I do see a little...

Need to rebuild -- Any recommendations in Chicago?

Hey everyone I've got a beautiful 94. Just realized I have some coolant getting into the engine. Checked the oil cap and it's got some white sludge :bang: I have minor knocking (piston slap??). Knocking goes up with the throttle, but 80% of the noise goes away when the engine is warm...

Water in rear passenger door ash tray

I am truly at a loss. The next time it rains, I'll make sure to take photos and video. Maybe next step might be to take the interior door panel out, close the door and spray water on the door and try and isolate the location.

Water in rear passenger door ash tray

So weird. The cabin is completely dry and the windows are up. But water magically appears.

Water in rear passenger door ash tray

Hey everyone, It's been raining a ton lately and I just noticed that the rear passenger door ash trays have water in them. The interior door panel itself isn't wet, nor the seats, nor the carpet. I've tried searching on the threads but haven't found this issue before. Could it be water getting...

    Spare tire removal without tool

The problem I ran into was trying to fit something in the small bumper hole. I tried coming from below, but the factory towing hitch makes it impossible.

    Spare tire removal without tool

Me too, I was very, very bummed. They mentioned since it "might" have rust it could take them a few hours. I told them it's rust free and they said they wouldn't be able to promise to get it out. Whatabunchashmucks

    Spare tire removal without tool

Update: Will be spending the money to buy a spare tire tool because local Toyota dealer was going to charge labor ($175/hr) for removing the spare. :bang: Cheaper to buy the toolkit. Thanks everybody for your input.

    Spare tire removal without tool

This is great advice. It never actually crossed my mind to go to a local dealer. Thanks @BILT4ME !

    Spare tire removal without tool

Correct! Figured I'd just delete it until I grab another 33" spare tire. Since they're different sizes I don't have any use

    Spare tire removal without tool

Hey y'all I got some 33's and realized I don't have a use for the extra spare tire weight. Wondering if you guys had any tips/tricks on how to remove the spare tire. The previous owner didn't include the hook and tried using some heavy duty clamps, but it's tough. Maybe I just need some a...

    80 series suspension spacer question

Old thread, but was wondering whether or not you liked 30mm slee spacers in the front. I'm considering doing that to eliminate the stinkbug look. Would the rear really be that much higher than the front without the spacer? I've heard that the springs eventually settle and would hate for the...

    30mm Spring spacers worth it?

    30mm Spring spacers worth it?

Hey, @ariff! I know this thread is old, but how'd the 30mm spacers go? I just got new OME stock height springs (2861 and 2862). Wondering if I should go 30mm spacers in the front and 10mm spacers in the back (per Slee's recommendation -- to eliminate the stink bug). I'm wondering if it's worth...
