I am putting a Chev LT1 in the 40 and would like to see how others have done the fuse box and wiring.
Where did you put the fuse box and computer ?
How did you distribute power from the battery to the fuse box ?
cheers
Did not use oil that i noticed. Friday drive to trail all ok, 20psi oil pressure at idle and no smoke. Sunday noticed blue smoke out the pipes and the oil pressure had dropped. Started up during the week and lots of smoke as above.
My chev 350 has some issues
Out of the left pipe, lots of smoke a bit of blue, a bit of greyish could be white, a bit of black, all mixed up. At idle and when reved.
Out of the right pipe, blueish smoke only visible using a light at the pipe at idle, easily visible when reved.
Oil ok...

Are the bushings the same ?
Would there be problems with brake lines, steering stuff, d-shaft...
Thanks
Pulled the pump and it has a pin hole at the bottom of the back cover on the outside and a couple of small craters on the inside of the hole.
I am going to deal with the rust with the grinder then weld and then rust paint or $100+nz for a new pump

If the low range lever is pulled back and the manual hubs are unlocked, when the 40 is rolled the front d-shaft...
