4wd not working

The 4wd on my 40 is not working. i hooked the vac line back to the carb flicked the switch with the engine running and no 4wd, then pulled the low range lever back still no 4wd.
If the low range lever is pulled back and the manual hubs are unlocked, when the 40 is rolled the front d-shaft should move right?

Can the vac 4wd switch leave the t-case in neutral so low range won't work?

Should the vac line be on ported or full vacuum ? swapped carb.

Fj40 82', h55f gear box, vac hi range, manual low range

i am assuming this is a vacumm shift t/case,if so make sure you have vacumm down at the transfer case end of the lines...

can you ear the relay/electric motor in the t-case when you activate the H4 dash button ?

Upss .. din't read it's a 40 .. but you het a t-case HF1A ?
