The PO stated that it worked, although it leaks down after a couple months because the seals haven't been switched out to seal R134a....
I do know the compressor kicks on and the system is all in tact. I don't know much about converting them from 12 to 134. Been told you could just change...
Oh I completely understand. We are a long ways apart. I'll find a new home for Tom Cruiser soon enough. Had a ton of calls and it's only been posted a day. Cheers
They are from Wheelers Off Road. Had them on my Tacoma for a year, then stored them and put them on the FJ when I got it. 16x8 steel powder coated with 3.75" BS.
Yeah, he definitely needs new leafs.:bounce2: They are 22 years and 220k miles old. That would have been my next purchase. The 33" tires do not help the leafs look any taller. :)
Times and plans change. I got tired of driving a car, bought a 4 door Tacoma, have a baby on the way and thus don't have the time or room to devote to my FJ60. Thanks for looking. The cruiser is in Kansas City. $4000 obo

I recently installed one of the cheap headers on mine. I used a gasket from Napa. My dumb a$$ threw away the part number. But we (the lady and Napa and myself) started with a 70 I believe, and started looking at the pics of the gaskets. Just find the one that has the exhaust ports separated...
I ran 17x32" General Grabber AT2's (which are BFG AT knock-offs) on my Tacoma for the last 2 years. I drove 700 miles through a blizzard that blew through Kansas, Iowa, and Wisconsin last winter; I saw 100's of vehicles in the ditch and some deadly crashes. The Grabbers kicked a$$. Made it...
Not to be a hijacker but you guys are already discussing gears and 33's. ;)
I've recently figured out that 33's and stock gears (are they 3:73's?) do not play well. While it'll run down the freeway at 75, it doesn't like big hills. Will any fj40 & 55 diffs fit the 60? I've been searching...
It's progressive. It's running pretty good the way it is, but I'll switch them around and see if it gets rid of the mid throttle stumble. Wide open it's flowing trough both so it shouldn't matter, that was my thinking anyway... Especially since it's a 34/34 compared to a 32/36.
But I don't...
I went and checked it out tonight. I was thinking about buying it and swapping gears and bumper and whatever else to my 60. But I already have too many irons in the fire and thought I'd pass it on too you guys. I checked it over pretty good and will answer any questions and help anyone with...
Except that motorcycle carbs are usually jetted the same all the way across, no primary/secondary to deal with. So should the primary have larger jets than the secondary on a Weber 34/34 (that's what my carb is)?
