Maybe the last two weekends… Drove from NYC to the Solid Axle Summit in Ouray, CO. Did some epic trails, hung out with some Mud legends and had a great time all around.

Bought an awning a few weeks ago and finally did a quick weekend trip up the mountain to test it out. Was a great time until my dog got sprayed by a skunk!
Making progress on the @TRAIL TAILOR 80 axle/ coil swap. Got the mounts burnt in, installed a set of Jason's 3° radius arms. These things are big beef and cheddar. I got the axle under the car and springs installed. I got the panhard in as well...
Nice work. Looks like it was all designed as one.
I tell people, with SCS, Xometry, Fusion 360, 3D printing accessibility, 3D scanning accessibility, YouTube tutorials, cost of welders coming down, etc, we are entering an amazing time for...
Thanks guys, I appreciate the input, glad I'm not alone. I know the directions were oddly specific and vague enough to give me a good starting point as I bolted it together....The pedal feel, travel, and function. (friction point) all feel good...
Great work duder.
Yep, same noise on mine. Idk how well I adjusted my bearing to be honest, it's been working fine for this long so it's on the back burner currently.
Roof Rack mods - mounted the awning up there (seen below). Bought a Rivnut installer tool not too long ago, not sure why I didn't do that years ago. I'd always be drilling and tapping but the rivnuts are just slick.
Gotta shout out to @bwesty...
Heres the final product, I am planning to find some black hose clamps or something, since there are so many in a short run, but I was able to use a 3.75" elbow fromt he throttle body to the MAF, then a step up coupler from the MAF, up to 4" to a...
Honestly if you're handy with tools and have the ability to stay organized this swap is incredibly doable. I think the hardest part for me was committing to pulling the old engine and cutting the mounts off because there's really no going back...
Transmission is in and working!
Everything went pretty smooth but it was a little bit of a pain lining up the t-case and mating it to the trans.
The only real mishap was that the wires for my center diff lock motor (I use it for the 4wheel...
Dissent doesn’t offer a single or dual gas can holder swingout and my garage space is very narrow. Going to merge one if their swingout arms with a Motobilt holder or two
While I was out fishing plenty of goodies came in! I got my charcoal canister, programmed PCM arrived, fusible links arrived after being rebuilt by @Coolerman …now it’s time to get to it & get this thing running!
Really impressed with the...
Well, I spent the past 7 days hiking and floating around Montana chasing fish with @rkymtnflyfisher We saw a lot of fish and other cool stuff, enjoyed the backcountry and time away from projects and work!!!!! I had an awesome time, got out...
Got the transmission stabbed in tonight…what a pain doing this solo!
I had to keep the trans and transfer separate to be able to get the trans on the jack and mated up by myself. Hoping the transfer goes in easy tomorrow 🤞.
