Ebay manifold I was just outbid on that yesterday. Might bid again to have spare.

Anybody know what plugs I should use for 1976 2F and what gap. Installed Hei dizzy. The gap is set at .040 now. Just wondering if there is a better plug to use other than stock for 2F.

cracked 2F manifold Nope, when I had it welded the first time I had them fill in the groove. Then I ground it so it was the same height as the new header. I think the problem was they didn't preheat the cast aluminium before welding.

Fixed problem HEI Had dist 180 degree's out. Didn't have #1 at TDC afterall. Thanks for all the help.

dizzy problem Does it matter what contact you use for #1 cylinder. Putting the dist shaft in so that the rotor is pointing at the #4 cylinder then lining up the vacuum to the same location as stock dist. Can I use the closest dist contact for number 1 cylinder. The pictures of installed hei's...

Thanks guy's. Yes, I had on tdc, rotor pointed toward just forward of # 4 plug. Lined up #1 on cap to rotor. Vacuum is in different location than stock. Tryed rotating one gear each way.

fj40 heater duct I just got one that is too short for my 74, it is the biggest piece of the one you need. It looks like the one you have will fit my 74. I'll take some pictures and measurements. If you get in touch with measurements of yours, maybe we can trade. jimfj40

apete 74, is that what I am about to start Just got 74 fj40. Not as rough as yours, but close. Ordered bunch of parts, brakes, knuckle rebuild, gaskets and soft stuff. Every time I look at it I deside to go farther with the rebuild.
