I have one set of Man-A-Fre add a leafs. They are the 24" version and add about 1.5" of lift. They are brand new and never used. Located in Raleigh, NC.

It will not move either way right now. I just accelerated to make it downshift and it got stuck, so I immediately took this picture. Should I just remove the rubber sheeth to inspect the cable or is there somewhere else it could be sticking?
It seems to work most of the time except if I really get on the gas hard it will downshift really low and then it will not want to shift at the correct points after that for several days. Then it will just start working again and shifting at the normal rpms.
So I think maybe my kickdown cable is getting stuck?? Here are a couple of pictures in park with throttle closed. Does it seem like there is way too much slack there?
