Are you sure you are turning it the right direction? Lefty Loosey😀.
Seriously though, that's rough, I feel your pain. Lots of WD40 soaking overnight?!?
How many miles on the cruiser? I'm guessing it's a Northern vehicle.
Speed of shipping was the main reason. Amayama lists 1-3 months for delivery. I don't always trust eBay, but the listing and reviews seemed legit. The parts came quick (5 days) and were in the right OEM Toyota packaging, and looked to be OEM parts. This is my family cruiser and having it out of...
After spending 3 hours trying expensive tools and strap wrenches I called my 63 year old dad who just knows things. My Lexus 2003 LX 470 was bouncing down the road like a pogo stick for 6 months and I finally had enough. I didn't want to spend the quoted $3000 at the dealership, so I purchased 2...
Thats an interesting thought, I'm curious as well. I have a 2003 LX and the night vision opens up and displays the green projection on the windshield, unfortunately the previous owner had an aftermarket windshield installed so its non operational as-is.
It's always fun to see these. My favorite is the $2,200 upgrade for "Night Vision". So glad to own a vehicle with such cutting edge technology, so advanced I'm basically Batman.

I found some LX 570 wheels ($500 for 5), added Bora 1.5 inch spacers for fitment reasons, threw some new tires on them, and really like the way it turned out. My use for the truck is more for a family cruiser so the black walls aren't sufficient for any real off roading.
Actually I just spoke with a guy who claims these are OEM. They were a Toyota upgrade back in the day. Interesting, I can't find a visual record online. They are offset which is nice.
I tried running some Cataclean through the truck, it seems to have helped a little bit but still popping a little. Whats the next step, taking out the Catalytic converter and cleaning it right?
I have the OEM spare tire and rim from LX 470. I'm posting a pic because it looks to be in good operational condition but its starting to lose its chrome. The tire is super old and worn. Free pick up, in Riverside, IL
