Running like Usain Bolt.
After I fixed the linkage between the choke and primary throttle plate, somehow I had the linkage on wrong. It would close the choke butterfly but not open the primary butterfly down below.
It made for some...

Another way to think about it is…anyone who has a clue about what it takes to get the truck to this level of drive ability will know what you have in it...
Parker made them for me. Used the part number above to convert from BSPT to JCI(-AN) and some M10 Banjo fittings. Pics below(beginning the rescue of this truck with a budget from a lot of POs, not a lot of my work in the pics)

Al- We’ve got 1k miles on the 72 w/ km3 and don’t notice too much tire noise.
The 71 pictured above has TT springs.
The Mustard ‘75 ‘s owner was at his wits end with steering and stopping(lack of). FJ60 disc conversion and EPS fixed it right...
@Jdc1 Man, I love those tires… I was thinking “ they gotta be noisy”. But …the interior noise at speed is pretty darn loud to begin with

Might be a back spacing issue? I would not turn that sharp, when you hear it rub - back off until you don't hear it rub. I have been in places where its a 50 point turn to get out - a little rub at that time might be only a 10 point turn.
I've had it happen where I've forgotten to reattach the engine ground after working on the engine and it ran like garbage until I realized my mistake. Cleaned the contacts and reconnected the ground wire and it went back to normal. Your ignition...
Most of the larger gas stations here have ethanol free pumps as well, I just drive my 40 so much I got tired of spending an extra $1 a gallon on the high test.
