Beef, I did the exact same thing that xlr8te describes just last weekend. Took about 30 minutes...the main thing is to back out the bottom two 10mm bolts that hold the connectors to the gauges. GET THE BULBS FIRST! :D Good luck and just take your time. Flash

Wow! Some of you guys must run solid tires! I have numbers close to LXRunner and I don't get beat too badly when I'm towing. I piss off my buddies because I go further than them when we tow in groups. (But I do wish I had that Diesel!!) Jim

archander, Was it just the bolts that were the issue? I have a "howl" that is coming from under the TC and it sound like a tire howl...but I did what you did and rotated without and change in the howl. I have a 98 with 75k, I tow my track car mostly, but think I've got something loose...

Eclipse I have not done much with my LC other than put in the 5495 that Seller is talking about. I second his opinion that it's a great upgrade if the cost doesn't get to high. My wife watches movies when we are on the way to track stuff and my eye's are on the trailer.

I tow a 2100lb steel deck 18ft trailer with a 2400lb Miata and a set of tires or two...NO PROBLEM through the mountains of Tenn and eastern Ky. My buddies get mad at me for running off and leaving them. I would like to ask the package that you guys upgrade to for a 98 LC shock and spring setup...
