cool thanks, do you know how much torque at the flywheel this means approximately? i find it very confusing, you aussies are always talking about power and torque at the wheels but most of the time the flywheel would be much mor accurate to compare ;-)
AFAIK the 75 has not the same axle as the 79 not sure if it can be converted anyway...
i have a brand new axle housing from a 79 with drum brakes laying arround. in case you find out it fits, let me know.
Yes, the castrol oil selector can be confusing i am also not sure if it is a problem to put a LSD oil in a non LSD diff...
I went always with Castrol TRANSMAX Axle EPX 85W-90 and it worked fine in my HDJ80 and HZJ78 both with difflocks...
Important is to get a oil for Hypoid gears...

As some have already seen in a previous post, i am going to buy a V8 2023 Model V8 Troopy (VDJ78)...
So the vehicle is ordered and should arrive in January....
Since i am using it for towing and offroad traveling i will do a custom dyno tune (expecting maybe 250-300hp at the flywheel)...
the yellow one is the one with sub tank... i can only guess that the one you are looking for is 83800-6BD71

Just checked the pictures, the Petrol redlines at 5500 RPM and max is 7000 RPM while the diesel has a max of 6000 RPM... not sure if that is technically a problem...

I have found out, that the cluster for the petrol (GRJ) is available on Partsouq but not the one for the V8 Diesel (VDJ) anyone knows if the petrol one are compatible with the V8 cars?

OK i am not aware about the Australian laws. But anyway it might be worth a try to give Kaymar a call maybe they have a solution...
In Switzerland the 75 land cruiser can have a towing capacity up to 6 tons with the right engineering documents btw 😅
AFAIK Kaymar rear bars have a towing capacity of 3500 kg
