Kit (30202) installed as instructed. As others here suggested, used a spade connector for larger purple wire to solenoid terminal. It's been several days and no starting issues thus far, even when hot. Happy camper here.

Started prepping for a knuckle job today. After pulling the drain plug, I found this on the magnet. Any ideas? Bearing cage? I'm hoping one of you guys have ran into this before. Not sure if it matters but diff has an ARB air locker. Thanks for any direction.

The ARB will accept most winches. I wouldn't let a spacer mod deter you. I have the deluxe and am very happy with it. Slee would have been my next choice. IF you order from 4WD parts make sure they send you the right one... They only advertise ONE for an 80, which is the winch compatible...

Now that we got that out of the way... Does anyone see why I can't use this Superwinch Roller Fairlead or superwinch heavy-duty roller fairlead-lp8500, 2302293 for a housing and swap with delrin rollers?

Just thought I'd use the upper wing as designed. Mainly though, I wasn't really wanting to re-paint/hide the grind job after wing removal. Also, I recall folks mentioning that by using that feature, it distributes applied forces on the bumper more so than just a hawse with wing removed. I doubt...

Recently purchased an arb bullbar for my 80. I tried to install a warn zeon 8s and realized it wasn't going to be a perfect fit, even with the spacer kit. So my question is, what winch will be compatible with that specific bumper? I'I like to use a roller fairlead since the bumper is designed...
