By chance, would any of the folks that have used this kit for starter issues mind chatting with me? I'm at a standstill in regards to wiring it up.
Thank you for any help

We need more information; what model are you working on, what issues are you having with your starter, what have you done to try to fix it so far, ----??

Looks like the relay version of what most are doing in this thread. Check out post 78 for how to wire in a relay

feel free to post what you did, and whether this kit helps out. i've considered the painless kit, or just a standard relay, but my truck is starting just fine.

Kit (30202) installed as instructed. As others here suggested, used a spade connector for larger purple wire to solenoid terminal. It's been several days and no starting issues thus far, even when hot. Happy camper here.

For future guys that need help on this that are not wiring savvy:

Thick red wire from relay -> connect to battery positive
Black wire from relay -> ground this wire. (Any M6x1 threaded hole on the fender is good)
Skinny purple wire from relay -> connect to your original signal wire that plugged into your starter.
Thick purple wire from relay -> connect to your starter motor

If anyone wants a plug and play set up, with all connectors, wire protection, labels, instructions, etc

3M Marine Grade crimps, OEM connectors where possible, USA made abrasion wrap, JIS SEM hardware, etc

Please reach out. Cost is $275 + Shipping.
