I don’t know if you two, but the power difference between the 4.7 and 5.7 is night and day. I hated towing with my 100. Sequoia is a joy.
And good job getting rid of those wheels 😆
Thanks. Argh. I may just keep adding coolant until it warms up and try to tackle it then.
I’m unsure if this is the cause, but the previous owner had work done at a local Grease monkey and for whatever reason, the coolant was flushed and filed with generic green coolant. So I flushed and...
I’ve been slowly losing coolant and today took a peek under. Saw a small drip on the transmission. I’m assuming this is the infamous coolant valley leak. Argh! 😖
I don’t have the time, patience, nor talent to do this. I’d assume this is an expensive job.
That always amazes me. I can’t recall a commercial where they’re not touting its offroad prowess.
One of the first commercials had it driving through a forest fire and jumping dunes. Now they’re trying to deny coverage because it saw some dirt. Unbelievable.
I haven’t gotten it yet. I called them and they said they’d have it ready. Drove 45 min there and they never pulled it. The guy said well, we can get it ready by the end of the day. Nothing else we can do 😡
I left pretty frustrated. I wasn’t about to make an hour and half drive again.
That’s not bad at all. It sure beats dealing with flakes and tire kickers. At this point in my life, that’s not worth the few hundred dollars. Best to get rid of it and move on with life. 👍
Niiiice. Looks great. I’ve been wanting to get rid of these alloys for some Tundra 18-hole steelies (in silver). But hard to come by with center caps. Local junkyard has some but they want $150 each.
Thanks! Found the one in West Valley. 👍 Wonder if it includes all 4 sensors. You know, in case the trailer decides to ram into my wife again. I’ll have to ask them.
The part that clips in is busted. The actual sensor itself is probably fine. But won’t work if it’s not properly clipped into the harness. I tried to straighten the pins and stuck it in the harness then gorilla taped it on there. But didn’t work.
It’s not that big of a deal. But just an annoyance.
I have a 2008 (2nd gen) Sequoia.
The rear hatch window opens ok, but when rolling back up, it screeches like crazy.
If I roll it about halfway down, there is a lot of play. Is that normal? It’s pretty loose and u can wiggle it back and forth.
I found this thread. I’m assuming I’m going to...
The ones I am finding, even ones that come in a “complete 4-pack,” all have the same size sensors. I’m just going to wait until I find one at a junk yard somewhere.
