You can still buy a new desmogged Toyota carbs, part No. 21100-61012 Installed one on my 60 with no regrets, 16,000 miles within 13 months of usage, still running perfectly.

These arrived today. To be honest, I am more worried about this upgrade than I was about the engine swap. 12 of the scariest rusted bolts on the truck. I have loosened 4 of them and started soaking the rest. If anyone has any tips let me know.

Today I cut out the rest of the rusted floor and started drilling out the spot welds to remove the boxed in body brace that was full of dirt and the 3 layers of sheetmetal where the floor is joined that collects all the rust. Broke my spot weld...

I got the other rear quarter removed today. The rust was worse on this side. Mocking up a new rear sill made of 2x2x .125 square tubing. Next will be removing the boxed in body brace just behind the door. Going to rebuild it and raise the floor...

Got my BudBuilt rear quarters today, I'm so excited to get these i stalled! In the last pic you can see how the wheel well opening is moved back 3" and if you zoom in you can see how thick the bondo is in the old one!
