No idea. It already has mostly new suspension, with plans to do the last bits (front LCAs and rear UCAs) soon. I’ve already put 16+ wheels on it to address the main thing I disliked about the appearance.
The three primary things I’d appreciate...
Well, the wife and I were able to finally pull off our honeymoon after 4 years of marriage. We settled on Tahiti and weren't disappointed. Bonus for me, lots of 70 series Land Cruisers moving around. I have trained her well enough that she will...
It’s not often a new issue comes up on Mud, but you may have one. My first response is to get it to a mechanic who knows the 5.7L really well and get yet another diagnosis. There’s probably a good place in MT or nearby and IMHO it’s worth the...

Yes there are heat tabs and it is confirmed as a salvage engine. I think the tag was placed by the salvage yard that the engine came from. But we don't know.
If no one else has a similar tag on a OEM engine then that narrows it down....
The dude at Renaissance Auto in Cary who's gonna end up doing this swap for me said he's used a few of the JDM imported motors before and always had very good luck. Fingers crossed.
