Best to forget the words "gas mileage" if you daily a LC/LX in the city. That being said you should get back in an LX if that's what the heart wants. You tried the downsize experiment and obviously it didn't scratch the itch.

You've got lots of options. 285/55R20 is a great next step up drop in size. On that same path if you're looking for even more aggressive is 295/55R20 and 285/60R20. Even 305/50R20 and 305/55R20. Though at the wider sizes, you'll need spacers...

gray rider replied to the thread 2014 LC Engine Swap (pending).Yes there are heat tabs and it is confirmed as a salvage engine. I think the tag was placed by the salvage yard that the engine came from. But we don't know. If no one else has a similar tag on a OEM engine then that narrows it down....

The dude at Renaissance Auto in Cary who's gonna end up doing this swap for me said he's used a few of the JDM imported motors before and always had very good luck. Fingers crossed.
