She ran! Fuel pump went kaput on me when she was idle....so a new one and she's getting gas to the carb now. Looks like my oil pan gasket must have dried also because I have a new small leak there. Perhaps it will settle down with a little... -

if it won't open by pulling on the door handle you may need to pull the door handle and use a screw driver to get the latch to rotate open

i had variance in this area due to incorporating salvaged rear upper quarter panels. Mostly mine was due to slight bends in that cuff area that bolts the quarter panels to the top of tub. I took ratchet straps strategically placed and...

This is probably a big part of your issue... it sounds like you are using your timing light wrong. Your timing light has do idea what the actual TDC of your engine is, it flashed based on the actual pulse from the distributor, not based on TDC...

Steady progress. I'm going to have to re-spray the hood, windshield and side-steps. Just not right. Enough electrical installed to theoretically turn over with the key but something is amiss.

A new set of points, a little lube, and a new pair of point ajustment screws wouldn’t hurt the cause.
