I recently had a bent tie rod. Before it was bent the toe was set to FSM spec. I got a used tie rod from $OR. I could not get enough toe-in with the replacement rod and had to trim a bit off the ends of it to get toe-in adjusted to spec.

Ok, I solved 1/2 of the problem. I found that the little spring on the choke shaft had come undone. So, now the choke plate closes when I pull the choke cable. But, what about the choke breaker? shouldn't I still be able to move the linkage for it?

I can't use the FJ60 pump bracket, my block isn't drilled for it. I'm going to fab something up using the smog pump bracket. My 2nd question is whether the FJ60 pump pulley will fit on the mini truck pump. (Seeing as I need to get another pulley anyway).

That would be great, I actually have a set of brackets coming from Bill Dorry so I don't need them. Is it a Toyota PS pump or Saginaw? I am still undecided if I want to go with a Saginaw pump using Dorry's mount or to put a Toyota PS pump at the old smog pump location.

I am looking for a 79-85 mini or 4-runner 4WD power steering gear box to put in my FJ40. I plan to use a saginaw pump but I would also consider a complete mini gearbox, pump, resevoir and hoses combination.
