Exterior Door Cladding (Trim Panels) - Clip Part Number?

I had to do the same thing. Be mindful that my research found that the quantity and item numbers are not the same from a 4Runner of the same year. I was recommended to use some double-sided tape as well as the clips to resecure the body cladding on. I didn't take notes so I cannot tell if my...

Yet another tire question... winter rubber

Falken's AT3W have the 3Peak designation if I recall. I can confirm that they work well, but only based on our Outback as I have not run them on the GX. I am thinking about it, though. Honestly, I also have been eyeing the Klevers and just stud them in the winter.

What Did You Do With Your 120 Today?

Yuck ^^^ Installed a bafx OBD reader and OBD fusion today. I couldn’t seem to find a thread solely on OBD fusion sensors etc for setup. Does one exist?

    Builds Homer's 2003 GX470 Build 8.2 4.56 2.5 34s

MBR don’t have much of a yellow problem, but one is pealing. I’m certain it’s the original and was shot with a gloss coat in the past. That same side also has less definition of a low beam pattern compared to the driver’s side. Was that the case with you HC? I wonder if redo you did this can...

What Did You Do With Your 120 Today?

There are so many rigs (commercial 18wheelers) that have accidents on that side of the pass. It seems that at least one each year runs off the cliff (no joke). Here is an article with a picture of one of them. Speed and brake failure possible factors in Wolf Creek Pass crash that killed truck...

Correct. That pass has a distinct curve to it, no doubt about that.

LED DRL and Flasher Conversion - No Hyper Flash

If you bent the same one as a the video, you should be fine. Technically speaking, it does matter as to which one to bend (or use).

What Did You Do With Your 120 Today?

Have the cup holder in the open position so the cover is vertical. With strong fingers, pull up on the cover, straight up, no screws to mess with. There are trim clips (like the wood trim sections) that hold it in place. At least this worked for me. I cannot take credit, there was a thread on it...

Bilstein 6112 Dilemma on GX470...not as low cost as I thought

If you want to match, ICONs work as you said. BP-51s are another option but not sure how you feel about them. Personally, depends on $$, but a LT new front end would be sweet!

Way to prevent mud from packing under factory skid?

Yes, it looks like you’re missing that piece. I have the ARB UVP and love it. However, I have an ARB bumper so I cannot confirm how well it works with others. Coastal Offroad, and a few others, are making plates that are one-piece to cover this same area and under the diff. Be mindful if you...

What Did You Do With Your 120 Today?

Front diff fill plug is 29 ft/lb and drain is 48 ft/lb (or so I thought). My case was the previous owner, or shop, messed it up bad. There is much documentation on the drain plug having issues. I really like the 14mm hex plug (toyota part 90341-24016) compared to the 10mm female design. I...

What Did You Do With Your 120 Today?

Regarding the brake adjust, this adjusted the tension. I access the tension nut (not sure of the true name) by pulling up on the cup holder and used a 12mm to tighten the nut. When you put the parking brake through its motions, you will see how everything moves and the nut will be obvious.
