SOLD  Washington DC: 1988 FJ62 Mostly Stock

For sale is my 1988 FJ62 Land Cruiser with ~234,000 miles. I've done almost all of the work myself (except the windshield and an oil change here and there) and documented it all in both receipts and a log book. It runs well but has some cosmetic issues (primarily paint and dash). Asking $18,000...

    Passenger side mirror glass replacement

The only cost I've got was for insurance purposes (moving company didn't fold the mirrors in and transported the truck rear facing, thus the shattered mirror) from two Toyota dealers, one here in NC and one in California. Price was ~$450 for the entire mirror assembly but neither of them could...

The Card Said to Come Introduce Myself

Hi all, about a month ago (crap, almost two now) someone dropped a card on my 62 at the June Charlotte Cars and Coffee. As we were leaving I drove by a few cruiser folk that I suspect were the card droppers. My 62 is a dark blue (but the PO painted over the red stock, bastard, and did a s***ty...

    FJ62 Transfer Case Rebuild Questions

Rebuilding the split case on my FJ62 (already got a kit from Georg @ Valley Hybrids) but I have a few questions... 1) Looks like the rear facing idler shaft thrust washer spun. No worries about the washer itself as the kit came with a new one, but there appears to be some damage to the surface...
