    Devo, No, I totally forgot about those two shops! I've been out of the Land Cruiser scene for a few years having sold both our 40's. I just had to buy an FJ80 for my oldest son to learn to drive and maintain it! :) Both are fun to watch, but someday the driving will be less terrifying...

    Timing is everything, and unfortunately its not the perfect time for a front axle rebuild for my family. No time to do the repair, but need the car running. Figure swap it with another and keep it running until I can repair it. Anyone in Denver have an FJ80 front axle hanging around...

    What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend?

    I pulled the 92 FJ80 out of the garage, hadn't been moved in a year. Charged up the battery, turned the key, crank...crank...vroom! Drove it to the car wash :) She needs a lot of work, A/C compressor, front axle seals, bearings...but it's a labor of love.
