I have been wheeling for about 30 years. My first truck was a Toyota longbed pickup. I ran that almost stock (2" lift, 33" tires, tube bumpers were the only mods). It was fun until it was stolen. Then I built up a Chevy Blazer. (Bigger tires, 4"lift, swaybar disconnects, lower gears, Detroit front and rear, 6-point roll cage, nerf sliders). That was fun until the engine went out a second time, and I decided not to repair it. My next two trucks were Isuzu Troopers. (stock height with 32" Interco TRXUS tires) Fun trucks because they were cheap (under $1400), so I could treat them like rentals with a waiver. The waiver expired on the first. I FINALLY sold a running truck (second Trooper), to buy my Cruiser!
