Put on a new slave and master and trying to adjust everything. Do you do it with the spring on? Where are you looking for that 4-5mm of release for end play?
What i'm doing now is with the spring on it pulls the fork against the slave cylinder...
Everything I've seen you can just dump out the old oil and add the new right through a port. Spinning the clutch to get it to pull in.
Also some in the drier
Then install everything and pull vacuum as normal.
Here's my 1975 on the day I got her. She used to belong to John Denver, but now she's all mine. I was not a big fan of yellow, but now I am 100% in love. As others have stated, it is just such an iconic looking vehicle.
I've had that happen a few times also but literally like shooting out while filling
Replaced mine with a VC120 probably 5 years ago. Maybe just due again idk
Now I just fill on the slowest pump setting
Shhh. Don't tell the guys that sell the $200 kits.

All you need is a M8 rivnut. It goes into an existing hole in the hood. Strut bottom goes into an existing hole in the fender. 1 banana job
I don’t have pictures of the rail adapters I made unfortunately. I’ve had a few folks ask.
It’s just a piece of flat steel with two sets of holes drilled. One at the stock slider width and one at the Bestop seat mounting width. I also offset...
Got the truck out and about with some fresh gas.
Runs great. Speedo is 10mph slow. It scoots nicely. I'm taking it to the gym tomorrow to get some miles on it.
Hinges adjust. Loosen cowl hinge bolts, keep snug but enough to move with some push, adjust as needed, tighten. Be careful as you test you dont peel paint if adjustments are too much. A rubber mallet tap works well.
