I had this great idea to rip it apart and rebuild it, then i moved out and bought a place. So now everytime i go over to my parents place, my dad threatens to toss it all out. So I figgered someone else will have better luck at it then me.

Are the cylinders leaking, if not dont replace them, they are pricey and at 2 a wheel it adds up.

I wear them at work all the time, diesel and used oil are the worst things to get on your skin, I've seen what happens to your skin if you let that crap sit on it.

Your right, thats why old lock washers are flatened down, and dont have any spring left to bite into the surface.

I would use bluelock tight, and either a lock washer or a nylock nut, but nylocks are a one time use only nut.

you might wanna pull acouple main and rod bearings to see if there is any damage to them.

I see this all the time at work, milky oil and the fact that your adding coolant equals coolant in the base. Time for a rebuild. Osagecruiser is right about getting condenstion in the oil, you should let it sit for a while and then drain the oil, if there is coolant in the base then it should...
