That's a great candidate for the home paint job. Mine (just above) looked worse that yours, now ($75 later), it's.... better. Well worth the weekend.

Unless you are really trying to stay 100% original, you can do without that tensioner thing on the bolt. You can just do the old-school tension it with a lever technique to tension the belt, and snug it down.

We use an auto-tunable HF antenna from CODAN on our work trucks. I can call europe-africa-asia on HF from the car. They look kinda cool, too.

The color is actually Buckskin Beige- from Van Sickle Paint. It's pretty much Rustoleum, it's implement paint from the farm and ranch store. I was trying to buy Rustoleum "Sand", but couldn't find it. I'm actually much happier with this color, it is much closer to what I wanted.

Most factory HID lights are 4500k-5000k. If you want that super white light, go for the 5000k-6000k range. The 8000k lights are going to look blue moving towards purple. The aftermarket HID kit I had in my Volvo was 5000k, and was fantastically bright and white.
