That is your problem. The hydroboost needs its own return going straight to a reservoir.
When you apply the brakes you are directing fluid from the pressurized output to the return, so if that return can’t flow enough it will back up.
That makes sense but it took him almost 17 months to send me two lengths of hose and some fittings. I can’t in good faith buy a single thing from him.
Powertrain integration sells such an adapter but has been “out of stock” for like a year.
I did the same, the PSC reservoir was huge, with three ports, to allow for better flow of the fluid. Worked with Send Cut Send to design and build a bracket.
Are you using the factory reservoir where the booster return hose is tee’d into the PS return hose? All funkiness went away when I went to a PSC reservoir that had two return ports so that the booster has its own port directly to the much...
The only thing I would try to buy from him would be the mounting plate that mates to the hydro boost assembly and source the parts yourself. That way you aren't waiting on him. That said, I am sure you can have one machined by someone like Send...
So just an update. This douche bag sent me a couple chunks of hose and some connectors (nothing else) a year and almost five months after placing a $1000 order from him that was supposed to ship in 90 days. I emailed him several times to asked...
Found a replacement for the tensioner on the 1fzfe, this one is ratcheting like the old style found sometimes on the early 93-94 fzj80. Going to put it in and will report back with my findings. I will share the part number If it works out. Trying...
Okay, pretty thick, 3/8 should be enough though. I used the witsend QPM, no experience with the either of the other two although the delta appears to be very close. It was a pain to squeeze in there!
I've not posted to this thread for a long time. But this weekend I drove my '95 for the first time in 2 years, 7 months, and 18 days. I had a HG failure and parked it. In January this year, I pulled the head. Just got it buttoned up this...
You may want to also ask if anyone on this forum is getting rock sliders and has any take-off's they need to get rid of!.
Could get them for the cost of shipping?
Or, just go with a simple solid step slider, like Slee and paint if factory with...
Mud members, I am usually - okay normally - well almost always in the 80 section, so please forgive my ignorance. I was out mall cruising a few weeks ago and decided to scrape up my running board pretty bad on the driver's side. Would have not...
I don't think Toyota Parts Deal is a "thing". I think it's basically an internet front that just scrapes the net for parts and pretends to be a business. I had one good and two bad experiences with them - one was for some hard to find weather...
Not the best start to the day. Daughter was parked up at high school when Florida Man drove into her. No idea what speed the idiot was doing but thankfully my daughter is OK but a little shaken up.
Driver side fender and door is also...
Another vote for Olathe.
I received my radiator within 5 business days, double boxed, no damage.
I've always had good luck with TPD for small items, but didn't want to risk it. Olathe also had the best price.
