Has anyone considered fabricating a WVO tank as part of a roof-top luggage rack? Would the fuel line be able to run through the roof support?

UPDATE: The project is on hold for a while. I've decided to go diesel, maybe an OM617 with the H55 tranny. I don't want to start the project without the budget to finish it. This will be a "gigmobile" used to get me and my big bass to and from engagements anywhere from San Diego to Santa...

4x4Labs makes an adapter for the H5T5 tranny. I'm considering doing this with a FJ55. The WVO conversion is an interesting option. I'm still debating if it makes sense.
