FS '72 FJ55 Roller in N CA

Hi all,

I am selling my FJ55. I am remodeling a house and I have a FJ40 I am rebuilding so it will probably be 10 yrs before I could get to the FJ55. I think it would best to pass it on to someone that can give it the time. Right now it is just sitting inside my storage garage.

I had the body stripped and repainted about a year ago so it is in great shape. It has a shackle reversal and OME 60 springs underneath (moved the hangers to adjust for the slight size difference) with a full floater in the rear. It would be great if I could get $2500 but I am willing to deal if you are really interested. Right now it is located in Sonoma, Northern CA. Thanks.

I removed everything to do the bodywork. So Brakes, Electrical, Motor, Interior all have to be bolted back in. I have some of what I took out if it was worth keeping. No motor though. The 2F was blown. I was going to go FI 2F again but also started to think about a 1HZ to go with my FJ40. As usual lots of ideas just not enough time.

Do the 72s have the vented rear side marker lights? I have seen some with the front wing windows but yours doesn' t seem to have them. Is it a thing where it is a later 72. I think that it is the 73 when the wing windows go away and the marker lights are vented. Would love to see some more pictures if they are handy. I am down in Ventura and have been looking for a clean body.
