I just rebuilt my carb and now when my rpm goes above 2500 I lose power. It just stops accelerating and I top out at 40 mph. Anybody have any ideas what I did wrong?

i just rebuilt my carb on my 82 fj60. i have this spring left over and i'm pretty sure it goes on somewhere by the throttle. of course this is the only thing i didn't take a picture of or draw a diagram. if anyone has a pic or some advice, it would be greatly appreciated. thanks

it seems like the only thing rubbing is the weights but the wheel is really close, I took it in to Big O to see if they could just put the weight somewhere else but it was a no-go. They recommended spacers or new wheels.

So, the weights on my front wheels are destroying the rubber boots on my TREs. From doing a search here it sounds like wheel spacers might be my best option, but I just wanted to see what the pros and cons of wheels spacers are and if there are any other options that I should be thinking of...

hi all. the previous owner of my 83 fj60 had disconnected the choke from the carb for what ever reason, i'm tryng to reconnect it but i can't figure out how it hooks back on. could someone please post a pic of how it connects. thanks!

hi all, i'm having a real problem finding a rear quarter window for my '83 fj60. i live around denver and i have checked all the auto glass shops, a couple junk yards and the internet, but can't seem to find anything. any ideas?

i've got a 97 xj and the heat doesn't seem to work unless i'm over 2000 rpm. any ideas on what could cause this and how to fix it? thanks.
