This isn't idle. Probably 1500-1700 rpm. We were on the street returning home from dinner when my wife pointed it out to me.

Thats kind of what I thought. I don't recall ever seeing it that high, but looks to me like Sniper is trying to tell me something that I better pay attention to.

When the battery voltage on my Sniper display reads 12.3 - 12.5 volts and flashes yellow, does this mean that the alternator isn't charging the battery?

It runs just fine when at full operating temps (185-195 deg), but my IAC is lower than yours. I can adjust cold temp? I did not know. I need to look into this. Thanks!!

I have thought about that, but don't know much about it. And yes, I know that it is recommended to disconnect the rear driveshaft. When you disconnect the driveshaft from the differential, the important thing is to mark them both so that they get reconnected exactly the same.

If you are running the Holley Sniper EFI on your 2F, what is your IAC? With a warm engine, my IAC is 2, varying from 1 to 4. On a cold engine it is a solid 20. Until the engine warms up, I occasionally have trouble with the engine dying when I come to a stop, or slow for a corner. I took it...

My Orion 4:1 t-case doesn't like to stay in low range. This seems to be a pretty common problem. Is there a solution? Can this be fixed? How big of an effort would it be to back the Orion out and return to the stock t-case?

We really like the room that the Lance 992 has - two slides, one on each side. For now we have no plans to change, so we will either take just the camper or trailer the FJ40 without the camper.

Yup. I wasn't thinking at the time. Frequent problem. Went home and took a better look. Ah ha! Now I know what I need. :-)

When I had gone to O'Reilly they handed me the wrong sex connector. It has been a while since I did this repair, but I believe they gave me a male connector. I returned it and got the female version and attached the wire to this. Works fine now.

What are the advantages of converting from the carburetor to the Sniper EFI? What things would I notice in driving my FJ40? Starting? Gas Mileage? Drivability with elevation changes? Drivability with temperature changes (hot summer weather to cold winter weather)?
