That’s what I thought too but there are several places online stating that the 1FZ-F dates back to 1984 - which really surprised me. And there’s almost no information about the carbed version at all. Odd...
Not so much a technical question as a historical one - I am trying to figure out the actual production years of the 1FZ engine variants. I believe the F (carbureted) version was out since back in 1984 In many parts of the world except the US, and the FE worldwide since 1993? Can anyone confirm this?
I have a 1983 HJ47 on the way from Africa but it’s got some terrible, random aftermarket knobs on the dash and I don’t believe it’s all in the correct orientation either. Does anyone have a pic that they know for sure shows the proper knobs and pulls for this vehicle?
Much appreciated!
Could you email me directly at the shop so I can see if we can do something about this? It shouldn't be an issue as that velcro is an industrial type.
FYI the velcro is used so that you don't have to climb over a zippered lip when getting in and out of the tent and it's not something we...
I’m not going to get negative on anyone or anything on a forum, suffice to say it’s just not something we are comfortable continuing to support. We were literally the second company to carry Alu-Cab in the US and things we originally chalked up to growing pains for a new rapidly growing brand...
I’m sorry to inform everyone of this but we will no longer be carrying Alu-Cab products and they will not have a Pacific Northwest dealer.
We have opted to focus our efforts on James Baroud and I would suggest anyone in the market to strongly consider James Baroud for a number of reasons...
We can do black for about $25 more (the material is more expensive). Let me know if you're interested.
We are running the OME extra heavy springs. They don't advertise them but there is a level above heavy of the 80-series. It gives a full 2.5" lift and doesn't sag, but if you're truck isn't...
We have one that was on our demo truck for about 6 months. Changing things up a little as we do on a regular basis and parting with the rack. A little dusty and dirty but otherwise in excellent condition. There are four 9mm-size holes drilled in the slats on the roof from mounting a James Baroud...
Hahaha. It's not as bright as it looks in that pic. We also have the side floods on as well as the camp lights (rock lights) underneath. it is two of the Rigid A-series rock lights, high-power.
