Just installed mine. What a sweet solution to a simple problem. 10 minute install, and the windows zip up and down as fast as my 2025 Tundra. Got me thinking about my old MkIII Supra now....gotta see if it uses the same relay. @PIP Might be...
So I'm going to chime in for the ones who doubted this,I have been running the prototype for 2 years and not one problem, with the Window Rocket and my Land Cruiser is my only vehicle that I drive daily its such an improvement,I still have 2...
Ok, just finished my install…31 mins start to finish, with two battery post disconnects and kick plate removals (don’t forget to connect the ground wire after plugging in the plug!)….super easy install and night and day results! Let me figure...
Oh baby, empirical data analysis gets me all hot and bothered :flipoff2: Nice job amigo, and look at that footrest though .
I'll have to do a comparo with my Dorman regulator on the driver window against these numbers to see where I...
My 80: 1996, 252k miles, new PS window rack & motor from Rock Auto ~4yrs ago, sunroof rack removal and rebuild ~5yrs ago, new Odyssey AGM27P (850CCA, 85AH) a month ago showing 13.7v at rest, engine OFF. I use the sunroof almost every time I drive...
High quality motor and regulator assemblies made by Aisin are available from Cruiser Outfitters @cruiseroutfit I think 3/4 of mine are from them.
Even with all new OEM window runs and motor/regulator assemblies, mine are a little slow in the...
OEM motors are not NLA. You got to get creative folks if you want OEM parts, just because the USA part # is dead doesn’t mean the parts are NLA. There are other markets and updated parts...
These guys sell something that works. Perhaps they won't be as long lasting as OEM, but OEM don't exactly shine either. Search Results - https://cruisercorps.com/pages/search-results-page?q=window%20motors
Aftermarket ones from rock auto and napa. Would definitely do OEM if I could have, but as you said, they've been nla for quite some time.
I slightly misspoke, they did improve the window speed, but VERY SLIGHTLY and in the case of one window...
Agreed here - alignment between rails is critical to not stripping any gears. I run both rails to their stops and then back off the same amount on each side before assembly.
I share that experience with seat gears stripping again and again. What seems to have worked for me is disassembling everything 100%, cleaning, greasing, assembling and verifying alignment of both sides. Then gears hold up well.
I ABSOLUTELY DETEST my power seats... I've replaced the gears 4 times, the first 2 stripped almost immediately... 3rd lasted about a week... last has lasted about 2 years... but I don't move it... if I have to adjust I get out. lol
if I could...
definitely cheaper, but end result may not be the same, I've replaced all of my motors, and it didn't improve anything. defintely not cheap but having slow windows for 10+ years dispite my efforts, and having them twice as fast after a 15 min...
I drove a buddy’s 80 that has power seats a while back and thought it was the dumbest thing ever. Same with my daughter’s 3rd Gen. It takes about two seconds to move the seat in my 80.
I installed the Window rocket Window Rocket 80 series 93-97 LHD - https://powertrain-integration.com/products/window-rocket-80-series-93-97-lhd

Definitely happy with the...
It’s worth it. I’d changed the runs, greased and cleaned, siliconed the runs and nothing really improved. Especially slow in winter. I’d hoped a product like this would come out when, years ago, Icon mentioned how they upgraded the electrical to...
